(I haven't used anything that old in a while. (Choose Upgrade from the VM menu.) I don't know if you can directly upgrade from a Workstation 3 virtual machine to Workstation 6 virtual hardware. If the message is from VMWare Workstation, then have you upgraded the virtual machine's virtual hardware? I believe VMWare Workstation 6 cannot run virtual machines created from Workstation 3 unless you upgrade the virtual hardware. If it is a message from DVDFab, you'll have to talk to DVDFab.
Is that DVDFab error message? Or is that a message from VMWare Workstation? (As you're starting the virtual machine, before DVD Fab.) and it tells me that it is unable to run in a virtual machine. Today I upgraded to the lastest version, 6.0.2.2Īre you saying you're using DVDFab version 3, 4, 5 and 6? Or is that VMWare Workstation version3, 4, 5 and 6? (Or what VMWare product are you using.) I also used, without incident, the 4.x & 5.x releases. I have been using DVDFab in a virtual enviroment since the 3.x release time frame.
